Karlsruhe: A City Worth Exploring - Motorcycle rider struck by a vehicle, passes away.

A motorcycle rider met his demise in a crash on the Autobahn 5, near Karlsruhe.

Commenting on the incident, the police confirmed on Tuesday that the 68-year-old victim succumbed to his injuries at the accident site. A car driver (38) was reported to have collided with the biker on Monday evening.

Following the collision, the motorcycle crashed and was dragged along for several meters by an oncoming truck.

Police investigations have been launched against both the car driver and the truck driver.
