In the ongoing nuclear talks between Iran and world powers, a strong message has been delivered by Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, Iran's supreme leader. Khamenei asserted that the United States was ultimately seeking to make Iran obedient to it, and accused American agents of attempting to sow division within Iran.

In a speech at a mosque in Tehran, Khamenei claimed that a day after Iran was attacked by Israel, American agents met in Europe to discuss what government should rule Iran after the Islamic republic. However, it's important to note that there are no publicly available verified reports or credible sources indicating that any European government or specific person met with U.S. agents for such discussions.

Relations between Tehran and Washington have been strained since the 1979 Islamic revolution and the subsequent hostage crisis at the US embassy. Since then, Washington has imposed successive waves of sanctions on Tehran, most recently over its nuclear program. The June war between Iran and its adversaries derailed the sixth round of talks on Iran's nuclear program.

Despite the ongoing tensions, Iran remains united, according to Khamenei. He stated that currently, Iran is united, with differences of opinion, but unity in defending the system, the country, and standing up against the enemy. Khamenei praised the Iranian nation for delivering a strong blow to its enemies by standing firm alongside the armed forces, the government, and the system.

Iran is scheduled to meet on Tuesday with Britain, France, and Germany for nuclear talks. The negotiations on Iran's nuclear program between Iran and the world powers are ongoing. The European powers have threatened to reimpose sanctions if no agreement is reached.

Khamenei argued that the Israeli and US attacks in June, which targeted key nuclear sites, were designed to destabilize Iran. He blamed "agents of America and the Zionist regime" for seeking to sow division in Iran.

The United States and its allies accuse Iran of seeking to acquire nuclear weapons, a claim Tehran has repeatedly denied. The supreme leader's remarks come two months after the intense 12-day war in June, the most direct confrontation in Iran's history with arch foes Israel and the United States.

Khamenei's remarks were delivered at a mosque in Tehran and published on his official website. As the talks continue, the international community will be watching closely to see if an agreement can be reached and if tensions can be de-escalated.
