On March 30, 2025, the Circuit of the Americas in Austin (USA) hosted the MotoGP Grand Prix of the Americas, delivering a real spectacle of speed, strategy, and drama. The race was won by Francesco Bagnaia (Ducati), who strengthened his lead in the championship and reaffirmed his status as a top title contender.

Race Results: Ducati Sets the Pace

The finish line confirmed Ducati’s total dominance: all three podium positions were taken by riders from the Italian manufacturer. Alex Márquez secured second place, just over two seconds behind the leader, while Fabio Di Giannantonio completed the podium in third, giving Ducati a triumphant result.

Marco Bezzecchi (Aprilia) delivered a stunning performance, climbing from 13th on the grid to finish 6th. Thanks to a strong, consistent race and several retirements ahead of him, he finished just 12 seconds behind the winner and less than a second off Jack Miller (Yamaha) in fifth place.

Retirements and Drama on the Track

The race wasn’t without incidents. Several big names failed to finish, including Marc Márquez, Pedro Acosta, Joan Mir, Fermín Aldeguer, and Brad Binder — all due to technical issues or mistakes on the slippery surface.

One of the most dramatic moments came when Marc Márquez, who was leading the race, crashed after making a mistake on a damp curb. That incident cost Ducati the chance to place four riders in the top 5.

Up Next — Qatar

The next round of the MotoGP season will take place in the deserts of Qatar. After the intense battle in Austin, the championship rivalry continues to heat up. Ducati looks powerful, but both Aprilia and Yamaha are ready to challenge. The season promises to be nothing short of spectacular.
