IACAD's "Ayal Al-Freej" Initiative Strengthens Community Ties in Dubai
The Islamic Affairs and Charitable Activities Department (IACAD) in Dubai has been actively promoting community engagement and Islamic values among young residents through the "Ayal Al-Freej" initiative.
During the first week of Ramadan, more than 2,000 children participated in the initiative across 195 mosques in Dubai. Mohammed Musabeh Ali Dhahi, the Director General of IACAD and the Executive Director of the Charitable Work Sector, oversaw the initiative as the General Coordinator of Ramadan Initiatives.
The "Ayal Al-Freej" initiative is a key part of IACAD's strategy to strengthen community ties and encourage regular prayer and active engagement among young participants. IACAD distributed over 1,200 motivational vouchers to the young participants of the initiative.
Mohammed Musabeh Ali Dhahi emphasized that the "Ayal Al-Freej" initiative embodies the core values of Emirati society and aligns with IACAD's vision. He further stated that the initiative aims to foster a stronger bond between children and mosques through engaging and community-focused programs.
IACAD's goal is long-term engagement with Islamic teachings and ethical values. The department intends to transform mosques into educational and social hubs within neighborhoods, maximizing the program's benefits for children and families.
As part of the initiative, IACAD expanded the number of accredited mosques for the "Ayal Al-Freej" program. The department also coordinates efforts to provide resources for the initiative, ensuring its success and continued growth.
The "Ayal Al-Freej" initiative continues to encourage regular prayer and active engagement among young participants, fostering a sense of community and promoting Islamic values in Dubai.
