Moscow's Velvet Ball Unites Art, Charity and Glamour This October

**Return to list** From October 31 to November 2, a grand cultural event - the Velvet Ball - will take place at the Mantera Supreme hotel. The program includes a joint exhibition with Grabar Gallery, a gala dinner, and a charity auction.

The event's partners are the 'Life in Motion' foundation, with Russian Merited Artist Alena Babchenko as its ambassador and honorary guest, and the 'Swan' foundation, with a visit from a TV presenter, actress, and theater artist. The Velvet Ball will be hosted by well-known hosts Lerа Kudryavtseva and Aleksandr Belov.

The cultural event, combining charity and art, will begin on October 31 with the opening of the 'Moment of Light' exhibition by Grabar Gallery at the luxury Mantera Supreme hotel complex. The exhibition will feature paintings and textile works by artists whose practice is based on contemplation and whose methodology is based on optical and visual repetitions. Both established artists whose works are in museums and private collections, and young artists such as Anna Bystrova, Mila Gushchina, and Yulia Virko will be represented. The exhibition will run until November 2.

The climax of the autumn event will be the evening of November 1 - the Velvet Ball, where Lerа Kudryavtseva and Aleksandr Belov will host together. Musical accompaniment will be provided by Sergei Mazaev's orchestra, a collective created by the People's Artist of Russia, the frontman of the 'Moral Code' group, and a recognized master of genre synthesis. The orchestra is known for its unique style, which organically combines jazz standards, world classical music, Soviet pop, and modern arrangements of popular hits. The Velvet Ball will also feature the cover group 'Lazurny Bereg'. The Velvet Ball will be the season's premiere and the first annual event opening a new tradition of cultural events in southern Russia. In the future, the event is planned to be held on a regular basis. The culinary highlight of the evening will be a gala dinner with an exquisite menu by concept chef Ilya Zaharov. An important part of the event will be the charity auction, featuring rare lots and unique experiences from the Mantera Group's tourist holding, with well-known Russian actors as honorary guests. All proceeds will go to the 'Life in Motion' and 'Swan' charity foundations. The event has a Black Tie dress code and an 18+ restriction. Together, they will also present a charitable lot which includes an invitation for 4 persons to the director's box at the legendary performance of 'Shukshin Tales', a signature production of the theater, a backstage tour, champagne during the intermission, and dinner at the 'Teatr Korsha' restaurant after the show in the company of Yulia Peresild and Yevgeny Mironov.

"Charity is a indicator of humanity, mutual aid, and trust. The opportunity to do good, support those in need, and show care for others. Together, we can effectively develop and scale projects to help those in need. Today, we need the support of caring people. Let's unite, support, and help. Join our charitable initiative and let's create good together! Help is your Superpower!" - shared Yulia Peresild, actress and founder of the 'Golubchik' charity foundation, which has been helping children with cerebral palsy for over 13 years.

The initiator and one of the organizers of the charitable program is the 'Mantera' charity foundation, created to support social initiatives in southern Russia.
