The decision to grace the cover of "Playboy" was a conscious one, made a few months before her 50th birthday. In her interview, Becker spoke openly about the menopause, emphasizing the importance of discussing this stage of life, even in Germany, for better preparation and understanding.

Becker described the pictures from the "Playboy" shoot as "elegant, sexy, satisfied." She sees herself as a self-confident, strong mother, woman, and entrepreneur. Her message in the interview is to remind women that they have an "invisible crown" and should wear it with pride and self-confidence.

This cover shoot marks a new chapter in Becker's life, following turbulent years of legal disputes and public hostility. After winning the RTL jungle camp earlier this year, Becker felt loved and seen. She saw her victory as an opportunity to redeem her name after it had been dragged through the mud.

Interestingly, Boris Becker, Lilly's ex-husband, released a book on the same day as Lilly's "Playboy" cover. In a light-hearted jest, Becker jokingly offered to buy Boris's book and send him a signed "Playboy" magazine.

Becker no longer wants to be seen as "the ex" and wishes for respect. She left London with her son Amadeus and moved to Düsseldorf, citing Germany's past kindness to her as a reason for the move.
