April 29th marked the discovery of a corpse in an apartment situated on Rosa-Luxemburg-Straße. It was the lifeless body of a 44-year-old Polish man.

Preliminary inquiries by the criminal investigation team have uncovered signs of foul play, as a post-mortem analysis shows that the cause of death was not of a natural nature and was instead fashioned through a violent attack.

As the victim's innocence becomes more apparent, the Erfurt public prosecutor's office has opted to pursue a criminal case of manslaughter.

Despite the conclusion that he was not the perpetrator, inquiries spurred by this tragic event leave many lingering unanswered questions. Is anyone aware of the victim or had they seen him between Saturday, 4/27/2024, at 12:00 pm to Sunday, 4/28/2024, at 7:00 pm? Did anyone observe conflicts or altercations amongst individuals over the aforementioned timespan? Were the deceased accompanied by any traveling companions? If so, any assistance in identifying these individuals would be greatly appreciated.

The Erfurt police force has provided further description of the victim: he was 173 centimeters tall, weighed in at 70 kilograms, featured a slimmer physique, a bald head, large tattoos on both arms. His attire included a beige T-shirt and a pair of black jogging pants.
