Michigan lottery victor secures substantial $100K second chance award

The Michigan Lottery has announced that a 59-year-old player from Genesee County has won a $100,000 second chance prize from the $300,000,000 Extraordinaire game. This is the first of four outstanding second chance drawings, with the next one scheduled for February 11, 2025.

The winner chose to remain anonymous, but expressed a desire to win one of the big $100,000 prizes in the second chance drawings. The Michigan Lottery confirmed the win, stating that the lucky player registered non-winning tickets via the Michigan Lottery app.

To participate in the second chance drawings, players must register their non-winning $300,000,000 Extraordinaire tickets through the Michigan Lottery app. Registration for non-winning tickets is open until May 2, 2025, and the Michigan Lottery has scheduled four more second chance drawings.

Two players will be selected randomly in each drawing, each awarded a second chance prize of $100,000. The winner from Genesee County is not the first to win a second chance prize from the Michigan Lottery. In fact, the winner had previously won smaller prizes in second chance drawings.

However, the identities of the other three players from Michigan still participating in the unclaimed second chance prizes for the $300,000,000 Extraordinaire game remain undisclosed. The winner from Genesee County initially thought the win was a joke, but was pleasantly surprised to find out it was real.

No information about the winner's plans for the windfall was provided in the article. Registration for the second chance drawings is still open until May 2, 2025, giving players a chance to win one of the remaining $100,000 second chance prizes.
