Michigan coworkers win $1M Powerball after buying ticket at local gas station

A group of 18 coworkers from Grand Blanc, Michigan, has won a $1 million Powerball prize. Known as the 'Lucky 18 lottery club', they matched five white balls in the August 20, 2025, drawing. Their winning ticket was purchased at a local Speedway gas station near me.

The lucky numbers—31, 59, 62, 65, and 68—were drawn on August 20, securing the group’s win. Nicholas Stockwell, the club’s representative, initially struggled to convince his colleagues that they had actually won. The ticket was bought at the Speedway gas station on 5505 Perry Road in Grand Blanc.

The coworkers’ $1 million win came from a single ticket purchased at a local gas station near me. Their next attempt will target the record-breaking $1.1 billion jackpot. The group’s persistence in playing together has already paid off once.
