MGM National Harbor Unveils Luxurious High-Limit Gaming Lounge After Major Renovation
MGM National Harbor in Maryland has opened a new high-limit gaming area after a major renovation. The expanded space now covers over 14,000 square feet and includes exclusive features for high-stakes players. A grand opening ceremony marked the launch, complete with speeches, a ribbon-cutting, and a traditional lion dance blessing. The new high-limit section adds 4,000 square feet to the casino's existing gaming floor. Inside, players will find 110 slot machines and 19 table games, all with live dealers. A dedicated High Limit Bar serves drinks unavailable in other parts of the casino.
The Flexible Gaming Room stands out with its adaptable design. It can host up to eight extra tables and features decorative wall panels alongside a crystal ceiling. Beyond gaming, the entire area has been refreshed with new wall art, plush carpets, and an eye-catching chandelier. At the opening, an official spoke before the ribbon was cut. A lion dance followed, symbolising good fortune for the new space. The casino, already popular with visitors from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington D.C., now competes with nearby venues like Live! Casino & Hotel Maryland and Horseshoe Casino Baltimore, both offering their own high-limit gaming areas.
The expansion strengthens MGM National Harbor's position as a top destination for high-roller gambling in the region. With its upgraded facilities and exclusive amenities, the casino now provides more options for players seeking premium gaming experiences. The new area is open to visitors alongside the existing gaming floors.
