"Jam at the Hofbräuhaus" - Metal band Metallica offers Munich a tune.
Despite the thunderstorm and heavy rain, the four musicians didn't let it ruin their concert!
They performed iconic songs that made music history, such as "Nothing Else Matters" and "Whiplash."
Making it extra special for the Bavarian fans, Metallica had a new, never-before-heard song ready: the "Hofbräuhaus Funk Jam," an instrumental piece with two guitars.
The band performed on a circular stage, constantly changing positions. Hardcore fans celebrated in the "snake pit," where they were close to their idols.

Metallica is set to play a second concert in Munich on Sunday, with a completely different playlist. They're calling it "No Repeat Weekend." During their European tour, there will also be guest appearances as a double pack.
Their next open-air concert will be at a festival near Vienna on June 1st.
