In the ever-evolving world of technology, changes are a constant. Here's a round-up of some significant developments in the German tech sector.

Wortmann has expanded its team with the hiring of 27 new apprentices for various positions, signalling a commitment to nurturing young talent.

In leadership changes, Easybell, a DSL and VoIP specialist, has seen a transition at the helm. Andreas Bahr has stepped down as CEO, with Steffen Hensche and Martin Huth taking over the reins.

Bechtle has seen a series of moves. Michael Guschlbauer, the COO, has been elected to the Bitkom executive board. Stefan Heim, previously CEO of Alpha Solutions, has been appointed as the successor to Andreas Staudigel, who is retiring.

Adesso Switzerland has a new CEO as well. Hansjörg Süess has left his post, with Michaela Gasser, the former deputy CEO, taking over.

Canon Switzerland has seen some internal rearrangements. Markus Naegeli, who has been leading Canon Switzerland continuously since the end of 2018, has additionally taken on CEO duties of Canon Germany, succeeding Rainer Führes in Germany, not in Switzerland. Führes, after over 26 years with the company, has left Canon, with Naegeli now leading both entities.

Microsoft has appointed Mareike Hoffmann as the new head of its partner network, while Cisco has a new leader for its global channels and SMB & Mid-Market business in Tim Coogan.

Littlebit has embarked on a hiring offensive, with many new hires coming from Siewert & Kau. The company has also appointed René Claus and Otto Schobert to represent the DACH region on the Global Leadership Committee (GLC) of GTIA.

Unframe, a German subsidiary of AI provider Unframe, has welcomed Kai Ganter as its new regional sales manager.

Netgo has seen some changes too. Philipp Wamhoff has been promoted to head the Münster branch, while former Accompio CEO, Torsten Otto, has joined Netgo as Vice President Business Development.

Sadly, the tech sector has also experienced some losses. Christian Hierer, former Business Development Manager at Crayon, has passed away, and Dietmar Wendt, founder of Wentronic, has also left us.

These changes and developments reflect the dynamic nature of the tech sector, with companies continually adapting and evolving to meet the demands of the digital age.
