In the ever-evolving world of technology, changes are a constant. Here are some recent moves and appointments within the IT industry that have caught our attention.

Olaf Mende has been promoted to a member of the management board at PROFI AG, a move that reflects his significant contributions to the company. Meanwhile, Olaf Dünnweller steps into the role of Chief Sales Officer at Procilon Group, bringing his expertise to drive sales strategies.

Kyanusch Kay and K. Dünnweller also join Procilon Group, with Kay taking on the role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and Dünnweller leading the sales team. Changes are afoot at ITscope as well, with Oliver Gorges leaving the company.

In Germany, Jan Willeke takes over the channel team for Sophos, while Marius Istel assumes the role of Head of Channel & Alliances at Alcatel-Lucent Enterprise. Oliver Herzog joins Matrix42 as Vice President Channel, and Markus Hollerbaum returns to Also after more than 10 years.

Digital Realty welcomes Thomas Linde as Channel Director DACH, and DexxIT gains Marcel Futterer as Brand Manager Sales Enterprise. Frank Kalisch, who spent 30 years at Samsung Electronics, is retiring at the end of 2025. Wojtek Rudko takes over as Director MX Brand Memory at Samsung Electronics, and Hendrik Flierman leaves G Data CyberDefense after serving as Vice President Global Sales & Marketing.

Jacques Diaz departs Netgo after less than a year as CEO, and Sean Holcombe assumes the role of Chief Partner Officer at Qualtrics. Fast LTA appoints Roland Stritt as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) effective May 1, 2025, with Stritt taking over all sales and marketing responsibilities.

Lastly, Olivier van den Bossche takes the helm at MediaMarkt Benelux, and Christian Werner becomes the Commercial Managing Director DACH at Digit Solutions. Meanwhile, Frank Eismann steps down as CEO of Büroring eG due to health reasons, with Ingo Dewitz returning to the company to take over the Sales and Marketing division.

Michelle Graff assumes the responsibility for the channel worldwide as Senior Vice President of Global Partners and Channel at Commvault, rounding off this series of changes in the IT sector.
