Meiningen’s Christmas Market Supports Hospice Care with Festive Cheer

A festive Christmas market will take place in Meiningen on December 6, 2025, from 3 to 6 p.m. Organised by the Meiningen Outpatient Hospice and Palliative Care Advisory Service, the event will be held at the Haus Sarterstift community and counselling centre. Visitors can enjoy seasonal treats while supporting a local cause—hospice care in the region.

The market will offer handmade gifts, with all proceeds going towards hospice services. Food and drink stalls will serve coffee and cake, crêpes, and campfire bread. A crafting corner will also let children create small Christmas presents.

The Christmas market will raise funds for hospice care while bringing people together. The newly trained companions will soon begin their work, supporting patients and families across Meiningen. Organisers hope the event will encourage more residents to engage with the hospice’s mission.
