Medical professionals in Yakutia aided around four thousand individuals who fought in World War II

In the ongoing Special Military Operation (SVO), medical professionals from Yakutia have been providing vital assistance to participants. As of the latest update, a total of 3,904 individuals have received medical care from these dedicated professionals.

Of these, 1,136 participants were hospitalized, while 2,768 received outpatient care. The exact number of hospitalized or outpatient participants in the recent period remains undisclosed.

The focus of the Ministry of Health of Yakutia has been on ensuring the accessibility and quality of medical services. In this regard, Yakutian medical professionals have conducted 1,221 surgeries in Dokuchayevsk, Donetsk People's Republic. One notable surgeon from Yakutia has been working tirelessly in Dokuchayevsk since August 15, 2025. This dedicated individual has performed 14 surgeries and treated two servicemen. In addition to physical care, the mental health of the servicemen has been given special attention. A total of 786 servicemen have received psychological and psychiatric support.
