Medical personnel in the Altai region to receive training through a new cluster program
In the heart of Biysk, a significant development in medical education has taken place. On September 1, 2025, 15 medical organizations banded together to form the "Vocational Training Cluster for Clinical and Preventive Medicine of the Altai Territory." This educational cluster, located in Biysk, is a result of the participation in the federal program "Professionalism," which is part of the national project "Youth and Children."
The creation of this cluster is a crucial step towards improving medical education in the Altai Territory. The cluster's focus on clinical and preventive medicine ensures that future medical personnel receive practical, hands-on training. Among the participating organizations are KGBSUZ "City Hospital No. 2, Biysk," KGBSUZ "Slavgorod Central District Hospital," KGBSUZ "Station of Emergency Medical Care, Biysk," and KGBSUZ "Central City Hospital, Biysk."
Other medical institutions involved in this educational initiative include KGBSUZ "City Hospital No. 2, Rubezhnoe," KGBSUZ "Kamennaia Interdistrict Hospital," KGBSUZ "Aley Central District Hospital," KGBSUZ "Blagoveshchensk Central District Hospital," and KGBSUZ "Altai Territorial Clinical Perinatal Center Dar." Additionally, KGBSUZ "City Hospital No. 4 named after N.P. Gull, Barnaul" is also part of the cluster.
The Ministry of Health of the Altai Territory has been instrumental in the founding of this educational cluster, providing support for the implementation of health programs in Biysk. Close cooperation with employers in the cluster will help produce specialists ready for work who possess relevant competencies. This close cooperation is expected to directly impact the improvement of the quality of medical services for the residents of the Altai Territory.
The operations of the educational cluster significantly enhance the practical-oriented training of future medical personnel. By working together, these 15 medical organizations aim to elevate the standard of medical education and, in turn, improve the health and wellbeing of the people in the Altai Territory.
