McLaren Racing Officially Renames Sponsor Partnership with Mastercard
In an exciting development for Formula 1 enthusiasts, Mastercard and McLaren Racing have announced a new global initiative called 'Team Priceless'. This initiative, set to debut in 2026, will allow fans to get closer to the action and the team throughout the race calendar.
The expanded collaboration between the two entities, grounded in shared values of innovation, precision, and performance, will offer fans exclusive, behind-the-scenes access and unique experiences. Zak Brown, CEO of McLaren Racing, reaffirmed the company's commitment to putting fans first and offering incredible experiences. Raja Rajamannar, Chief Marketing and Communications Officer for Mastercard, echoed this sentiment, reaffirming Mastercard's commitment to putting fans in pole position.
As part of 'Team Priceless', select fans will be able to enjoy incredible experiences as part of this exclusive group. On select race days, they will have the opportunity to participate in hot laps on the track, meet the drivers, and experience Priceless Experiences that highlight the host city's local culture.
The live fan event in Amsterdam on August 27th, ahead of the Dutch Grand Prix, marks the launch of this new chapter in the partnership between Mastercard and McLaren Racing. The event will feature live musical performances and appearances by McLaren Formula 1 Team drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Mastercard's partnership with McLaren Racing will also serve as a launch pad for the Team Priceless initiative. McLaren Racing has announced that Mastercard will become the Official Naming Partner of the McLaren Formula 1 Team, with the team known as the McLaren Mastercard Formula 1 Team from 2026 onwards.
