The esports community is buzzing with excitement as the BetBoom All-Star 2x2 tournament for CS:GO is set to take place on August 26-27. Organised by Electronic Mushroom, the event will be streamed on Twitch via Shadowkek's channel.
The tournament features a total prize fund of 2 million rubles, with the 1st place prize standing at a significant 500,000 rubles. The 2nd place team will receive 250,000 rubles, while the 3rd and 4th places will each earn 125,000 rubles. An additional 1 million rubles will be distributed based on individual actions during the game, with the most active and valuable player earning an extra 200,000 rubles.
Six professional teams, each consisting of two members, will compete in this exciting event. The teams are as follows: Danistzz and Paradeevich, Desout and Recrent, Skywhywalker and Karavay, Degster and Cooman, Nafany and Nix, and Stanislaw x Shadowkek.
The group stage of the tournament will be held in a bo1 (best of one) format. The top four pairs will advance to the playoffs, which will follow a Single Elimination format. The semifinals will be played in a bo3 (best of three) format, leading up to the Grand Final, which is a bo5 (best of five).
Nikita Koroteev, head of the production department at BC BetBoom, believes that such esports competitions can present the process of rivalry in a new light. Free bets worth 150,000 rubles will also be raffled off to viewers, with details to be revealed in the near future. The event will also feature well-known commentators such as FAnder, Zoner, and GrOm_0_ZeKa.
