Massive Poker Tournament with $5 Million in Guaranteed Prizes Kicks Off at ACR Poker
ACR Poker is gearing up for an exciting week of poker tournaments, dubbed the Supersized Tourney Week. The event, set to take place from August 25 to September 1, will feature a total of 20 epic events, each offering substantial guarantees.
Kicking off on August 25, two new headline events will join the lineup. The $750,000 GTD Sunday High Roller and the $500,000 GTD Banana promise thrilling competition for players.
On August 26, five exciting events will be held, including a Supersized Tourney with $250,000 GTD and a $630 buy-in, and a Supersized PKO with $100,000 GTD and a $1,050 buy-in. The day will also see a $300,000 GTD PKO with a $215 buy-in and a Supersized Sunday Banana with a whopping $500,000 GTD and a $1,050 buy-in.
The week's highlight, however, is the $5 Million GTD Tourney, which will run from August 25 to September 3. The tournament, with a $2,650 buy-in, will be the grand finale on the final day.
ACR Pro Chris Moneymaker has expressed his satisfaction with the success of the Mystery Bounty and PLO Venom tourneys, which have seen the platform surpass guarantees to award over $10 million via the greatest Mystery Bounty and PLO tournaments in its history.
Moneymaker, who announced the Supersized Tourney Week, stated that the event will take things even further. The week will lead into the $40 Million GTD "mammoth OSS XL" series, starting on September 8.
The Supersized Tourney Week has $5 million guaranteed in prizes across all events, with 18 of the events boasting increased guarantees. The week will be supported by well-known poker players like Daniel Negreanu, who will announce the tournaments.
A $400,000 GTD tourney with a $109 buy-in for the $400,000 GTD Sunday Moneymaker is scheduled for September 1. Additionally, a $100,000 GTD Turbo with a $1,050 buy-in is set for August 27.
