Margaret A. "Maggie" Stumpf: A Life Celebrated at Florin Church of the Brethren

Margaret A. "Maggie" Stumpf, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, passed away on August 17, 2025. She was 85 years old. Born in Roaring Springs, PA, Maggie spent her life serving others and touching the lives of many.

Maggie was the daughter of Joseph and Regina (Rutherford) Imler. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Herb Imler, Doris Shriver, and Pamela Omps. Maggie is survived by a son Tyler Stumpf, husband of Jennifer, a sister Annie Smouse, and a sister-in-law Linda Groff.

Maggie was a faithful member of the Sunshine Ladies at Florin Church of the Brethren, where she attended services regularly. She also worked for 40 years as a nursing assistant, dedicating her life to caring for others. Although the organization for which she last worked is not known, her service and dedication to the field will always be remembered.

Maggie retired from Masonic Village after 40 years of service as a nursing aid. In her retirement, she enjoyed traveling with her husband to Cushman Scooter events, shopping at local thrift shops, meeting her friends for lunch, and making her "world famous" fudge.

The memorial service for Maggie Stumpf will be held at Florin Church of the Brethren on September 13, 2025, at 11 AM. The memorial service is open to family and friends, and family and friends will be received at the church before the service from 10 AM to 11 AM. The interment for Maggie Stumpf will be private.
