Manchurian Candidates Staged by Lone Gunmen: Script Repeatedly Follows the Same Pattern
In the heart of Minneapolis, a tragic event unfolded on August 27th, 2025. The suspect, identified as Robin Westman, formerly known as Robert Westman, targeted a Catholic church, resulting in the loss of two innocent lives and the wounding of 21 others. Westman, who later died by suicide, left behind a trail of unanswered questions and speculation.
Robin Westman's father, James S. Westman, has spent nearly three decades at ESRI, a geospatial mapping company with deep contracts in defense and intelligence. His daughter's motives remain a mystery, as does the connection, if any, to her family dynamics. Westman's mother, Mary Grace Westman, refuses to speak to the press, leaving many questions unanswered.
The question of whether today's tragedies are still written from the MK Ultra playbook, and whether fear will be the bullet that takes away our freedom, is a concern for many. Operation Paperclip brought Nazi scientists into the U.S., and CIA projects like BLUEBIRD, ARTICHOKE, and MK Ultra aimed to break minds, implant triggers, and create programmable individuals. The manipulation of perception through targeted fear is a tool used to stoke fear, divide, and erode rights.
The case of Robin Westman is not the first to raise eyebrows. Mark David Chapman, who shot John Lennon, fixated obsessively on The Catcher in the Rye as if it were his "trigger text." John Hinckley Jr., who shot Ronald Reagan, was under psychiatric care and has long been suspected of being manipulated. Seung-Hui Cho, who committed the Virginia Tech shooting in 2007, left a fragmented manifesto and was described by classmates as robotic and dissociated. Sirhan Sirhan, accused of killing Robert F. Kennedy in 1968, famously said he could not remember firing his gun and was found to be "highly suggestible."
Multiple school shooters over the years have displayed a similar lack of memory and post-event calmness. The fathers of the two slain children hold prominent positions in industries with heavy government overlap: Michael Moyski, a vice president at global logistics giant C.H. Robinson, and Jesse Merkel, an engineer at Xcel Energy, a major grid and government contractor.
However, it's important to note that the real issue is not new laws and limitations to our 2nd amendment rights, but gun dealers being held accountable for failing to follow through with safety checks designed to protect citizens. The legal structures to prevent tragedies already exist in various forms in every state, but accountability is needed when safeguards are ignored, systems are bypassed, and sellers provide weapons without due diligence.
The families of the perpetrator and the victims have no publicly disclosed direct connections. The case is being examined alongside the perpetrator's online manifesto and other weapons found at related locations, but no further suspects or familial links have been reported. Comparisons to other cases, such as school shooters claiming amnesia, highlight patterns of troubled backgrounds and psychological factors, yet there is no specific information connecting these aspects to Westman or his family.
In the 1998 Thurston High School shooting in Oregon, the knowledge of weapons possessed by the Ryker brothers was crucial in stopping the shooting. However, it was deliberately left out of the national narrative. Rob Ryker, the father of Jake and Josh Ryker, was wearing his NRA baseball cap during interviews, but the cap was blurred in the footage. The legal structures to prevent tragedies already exist, but accountability is needed when safeguards are ignored, systems are bypassed, and sellers provide weapons without due diligence.
As we continue to grapple with the aftermath of the Minneapolis shooting, it's crucial to remember the victims, support their families, and strive for a safer future for all. The term "Manchurian Candidate" refers to those under hidden external control, and the patterns of behaviour seen in cases like that of Robin Westman raise questions about the extent to which such control may exist. It's a chilling thought, but one that must be confronted if we are to protect our freedoms and ensure a brighter, safer future for all.
