Obituary: Ules "Dean" Netherton
Ules "Dean" Netherton, a cherished friend, neighbour, and family man, passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 81. Born on December 1, 1943, in Putnam County, Tennessee, Dean spent his later years in Sheridan, Wyoming.
Dean is survived by his children Denise, Michelle, Deana, Alvin, and Lana, as well as numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Rae Marie, brothers Bob, Matt, Arless, Oscar, Arman, and Norman, and sons Jerry Clark and Ricky Schaffer. Dean is also survived by his siblings David and Lillian.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the American Legion in Sheridan, Wyoming on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Dean's life. This event is open to all.
Dean was remembered for his charm, teasing humor, warm smile, and love for the outdoors. He enjoyed skeet shooting, hunting, fishing, and spending time in the Bighorn Mountains.
