Man from Port Byron apprehended following disputes on the road in Geneva
In a recent development, Adam Wiggins, a 34-year-old resident of Port Byron, has been arrested and is currently facing charges in Phelps Town Court. The arrest was made on August 10 by the Ontario County Sheriff's Office at his home on Mentz Church Road.
The incident that led to Wiggins' arrest is described as a road rage incident, which reportedly occurred in Geneva. According to the charges, Wiggins is accused of menacing in the third degree, obstruction, harassment, and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
The Ontario County Sheriff's Warrant Unit received assistance from the Cayuga County Sheriff's Office in the arrest of Wiggins. Prior to this arrest, Wiggins was wanted on a warrant from Phelps Town Court.
It was reported that Wiggins was driving without a license, which is one of the charges he is facing. His arraignment is pending, and currently, he is being held at the Ontario County Jail.
