Sochi, Russia, is preparing for the upcoming cold weather as the local enterprise, Sochiothermal Power, carries out a significant modernization of the city's heat supply systems.

The enterprise has installed 4 modern water-heating boilers and 22 pumps as part of the re-equipment of boiler houses. Additionally, 2 heat exchangers have been added to boost the system's efficiency.

The technical re-equipment of boiler houses and the necessary work at central heating points and pumping stations have been completed. However, the exact date for heat supply to the houses of Sochi residents remains dependent on the actual weather conditions.

Meteorologists have predicted a prolonged Indian summer this year, but the city's administration is taking no chances. As a precaution, 3.7 pipelines have been replaced, and approximately 350 kilometers of networks have undergone repairs and testing in preparation for winter.

Specialists are currently conducting flushing and pressure testing of networks in multi-apartment buildings, educational, and social facilities in Sochi. The mayor, Andrei Proshunin, has announced that 79 out of 84 boiler houses in Sochi are ready for the upcoming cold weather.

Despite the progress, the names of the individuals involved in the modernization of the heat supply systems in Sochi are not publicly specified.

It is worth noting that no new information about the status of central heating points and pumping stations in Sochi, or the date for heat supply to houses and facilities, has been disclosed.

As Sochi braces for winter, residents can rest assured that efforts are being made to ensure a reliable heat supply. The city administration continues to monitor the situation closely and will provide updates as they become available.
