Russian Poker Tour Minsk 2015: A Poker Festival for All

The Russian Poker Tour (RPT) is set to return to Minsk, Belarus, from September 17 to 27, promising an exciting poker festival for both beginners and seasoned players.

The event will be held at three venues: Casino "Emir", entertainment complex "Cotton", and hotel "Belarus".

The tournament schedule is packed with a variety of events, including the Grand Final, Main Event, Super Knockout Event, Monster Event, and the new OFC Pineapple Championship Head-Up, among others.

The Main Event features a buy-in of $550 with a stack of 30,000, levels of 45 minutes on day 1 and 2, 60 minutes on day 3, and a final table of 75 minutes. The Super Knockout Event has a buy-in of $1200 (600+600) with a stack of 20,000 and levels of 35 minutes. The Omaha Knockout Event offers two buy-ins of $500 and $400 (7%) with bounties of $250 and $200, respectively, and a stack of 20,000 with levels of 20 minutes.

For those with a smaller bankroll, the Stack Plus Event offers two buy-ins of $100 and $440 (10%), with a new format that includes a stack of 15,000 in Day 1A-B-C, and 75,000 in the final, levels of 15 and 30 minutes. The 100K Event is a new addition to the RPT schedule with a buy-in of $300 (10%), a stack of 100,000, and levels of 15 minutes.

The Superstack Event is the most prestigious event at RPT Minsk with a buy-in of $1500 (10%), a stack of 50,000, and levels of 40 minutes. The Grand Final Event has a buy-in of $1100 with a stack of 30,000 and levels of 45 and 60 minutes. The Under Pressure Knockout Event has a buy-in of $300 (7%), with a bounty of $100, a stack of 20,000, and levels of 20 minutes.

The Monster Event has a buy-in of $400 with a stack of 50,000 and levels of 20 minutes. The OFC Pineapple Championship Head-Up is a new addition to the RPT schedule with a democratic buy-in of $300 (10%).

Satellite tournaments are also available, and they are tax-exempt. However, a 13% tax on prizes will be withheld from winners of tournaments not held in the casino, as per Belarusian law.

The WCOOP online series will be taking place during the Grand Final. Many well-known professionals plan to play from the RPT venue or rented apartments in Minsk. The Grand Final is the largest poker event in the CIS with affordable buy-ins and record-breaking prizes totaling $1,500,000.
