Maison Artemisia, a well-known cocktail bar in Mexico City's Roma Norte, has launched a new seasonal menu. The latest selection honours eight historical figures who once called the neighbourhood home. Each drink tells a story, blending local flavours with international spirits.
The bar sits at Tonala 23, in the heart of Roma Norte—a district famous for its vibrant nightlife and creative cocktail scene. Since opening, Maison Artemisia has stood out for its inventive recipes and dedication to craft drinks.
The new menu features eight signature cocktails, each named after a notable figure. Options include the Chavela Vargas, Antonieta Rivas Mercado, Don Gaston, and Edward James, alongside drinks inspired by Luis Buñuel, Sergei Eisenstein, Jack Kerouac, and Tina Modotti. Prices average around $230 per cocktail.
Beyond the seasonal offerings, the bar serves classic cocktails with a modern twist, alcohol-free alternatives, and a selection of absinthes, beers, and wines. The menu shifts with the seasons, ensuring regular updates for visitors.
Maison Artemisia also hosts weekly DJ sets by independent artists and offers a terrace for light snacks. Followers can keep up with events and updates via their Instagram account, @maisonartemisiamx.
The new menu celebrates Roma Norte's cultural history while keeping the bar's reputation for innovation.
