On the auspicious occasion of the Indian Independence Day, automobile giant Mahindra is set to unveil four new concept SUVs - the Vision.S, Vision.X, Vision.T, and Vision.SXT. This grand debut will also mark the introduction of Mahindra's new platform, the Freedom_NU, which will underpin these innovative vehicles.
The Vision.S, with its rugged SUV design, and the Vision.X, showcasing a curvy design language, are poised to make their entry into the automotive world. The Vision.X could potentially be a coupe SUV or a crossover, adding versatility to Mahindra's lineup.
The Vision.T and Vision.SXT, on the other hand, seem to be designed with a hard-core off-roader aesthetic, as suggested by their stubby, squarish taillamps. These models may also be part of Mahindra's Thar range, further expanding the brand's off-road capabilities.
The Vision.S, with its more urban-oriented design, contrasts with the Vision.T and Vision.SXT, which appear to be designed for more adventurous terrains. The Vision.X, however, strikes a balance between these two extremes.
All four SUVs will be built using the Freedom_NU platform, which will also be constructed at Mahindra's plant in Chakan, Pune. This platform supports a variety of powertrain options, including petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric, ensuring that these concept vehicles cater to a wide range of consumers.
