Netzwerk Frau e.V. Donates Fun and Useful Go-Kart to Luenen Children's Fire Department

The Netzwerk Frau e.V. association, known for its long-standing commitment to family and women's projects in the city of Luenen, has made a significant contribution to the local community. On August 21, 2025, as part of the benefit action "Strong Children, Strong Future," the association donated a go-kart to the Luenen Children's Fire Department.

The handover event took place in the presence of the children's fire department, members of the association, and the volunteer fire department. Sandra Babucke, the deputy city children's fire chief, expressed her delight, stating that such commitments make youth promotion fun.

The Luenen Children's Fire Department, known for teaching firefighting principles, team spirit, responsibility, and social interaction, will now enhance its offerings with a playful element that promotes movement and community spirit. The new go-kart is expected to be a hit among the children.

Madeleine Zippro, the 1st chairwoman of Netzwerk Frau e.V. Luenen, explained the motivation behind the donation, stating that the association wanted to donate something that is both useful and fun.

The public highlight of the "Strong Children, Strong Future" benefit action is planned for August 31, from 11 am to 2 pm, at the Gahmer Hof. The children's fire department will participate in the event, and the children will have the opportunity to view a fire engine and a turntable ladder.

The association focuses on providing concrete, low-threshold offers for the community. The donation campaign specifically supports projects for children and young people in Luenen. While the identity of the donor for this campaign has not been publicly disclosed, it is clear that the association's commitment to the city's youth remains strong.

Members of the association also had the opportunity to look inside the emergency vehicle during the event, gaining a better understanding of the work done by the Luenen Children's Fire Department.

The benefit action of Netzwerk Frau e.V. will continue throughout the year, with more initiatives planned to support the city's children and young people. The association's dedication to family and women's projects in Luenen shows no signs of slowing down.
