Lukashenko Persists with Agriculture-focused Regional Journey
President Lukashenko Visits Thriving Dairy Complex "Kupalinka" in Orshansky District
President Alexander Lukashenko is currently on a regional working trip focused on agriculture, and his next stop is the thriving dairy complex "Kupalinka" in the Orshansky district of the Vitebsk region.
The dairy complex, located primarily near Minsk in Belarus, is a key component of OAO "Agrokombinat "Yubileyn", which manages 11,700 hectares of agricultural land. The President will inspect the operations of the dairy complex, including the fodder preparation process.
As of now, the dairy complex "Kupalinka" is 93.8% occupied. From January to May 2022, the complex produced an impressive 8,400 tons of milk, a testament to its efficiency. Notably, the milk produced at the dairy complex is sold exclusively as extra-class.
The average yield per cow at the dairy complex "Kupalinka" is nearly 4,200 kg, a significant figure that underscores the complex's productivity. In 2021, the output growth rate in animal husbandry for the enterprise was 115.7%, while the overall output growth rate for the enterprise was 109.9%.
The President will also be briefed on the progress of agricultural work in Belarus, the Vitebsk region, and the Orshansky district. The output growth rate for January-May 2022 was 114.6% for the enterprise, and the output growth rate in plant cultivation for 2021 was 99.3%.
During his visit, President Lukashenko will also be informed about the readiness of equipment for the harvesting campaign in the mentioned areas. This visit comes as part of the President's ongoing efforts to support and promote the growth and success of Belarus' agricultural sector.
