Lübeck-Schwartau manages a late goal in the game
In an electrifying 2. Handball Bundesliga (2. HBL) match, VfL Lübeck-Schwartau fought back from an early disadvantage to draw 29:29 with HC Elbflorenz.
The game started at a fast pace, with Niko Blaauw scoring for VfL within the first two minutes. Despite an early power play disadvantage, Lübeck-Schwartau stayed in the game, thanks in part to Jan-Eric Speckmann's impressive performance. Speckmann, VfL's top scorer, netted six goals in the match, helping reduce Dresden's lead to 8:6.
By halftime, VfL had narrowed the gap to 18:16. In the second half, VfL took the lead, briefly up 24:21. However, Elbflorenz fought back, and it wasn't until the final seconds of the game that Oliver Juhl scored to secure a point for VfL Lübeck-Schwartau.
