In the Rhein-Kreis Neuss district, a special supply of Johnson & Johnson vaccines for the ongoing vaccination campaign was provided by the district administration. On June 14, 2021, a total of 2,008 doses were administered ahead of schedule in Neuss and Grevenbroich.

As of the same date, the 7-day incidence value for the Rhein-Kreis Neuss stood at 15.3, with 317 people registered as infected. Tragically, two deceased individuals were reported, both men from Grevenbroich, aged 51 and 74 years old. Since March 2020, 349 people out of 18,147 identified as infected have lost their lives due to the infection.
