Logistics Plus strikes a deal, purchasing Chicago-based LoadDelivered Logistics.

In a strategic move aimed at expanding its transportation management offerings, Logistics Plus, a full-service 3PL based in Erie, Pennsylvania, has announced the acquisition of Chicago-based freight brokerage LoadDelivered Logistics.

Logistics Plus, which specializes in transportation, warehousing, and fulfillment services, among other supply chain solutions, operates across more than 50 countries. The acquisition is designed to offer shippers greater coverage, technology, and expertise.

LoadDelivered Logistics, known for its freight brokerage services, will continue to operate under its existing banner while collaborating with the Logistics Plus North American Division brokerage team. The acquisition cost for LoadDelivered Logistics was not disclosed.

"This acquisition will help our customers navigate complex supply chains," said Craig Warnhuis, director of North American operations at Logistics Plus. Yuriy Ostapyak, Logistics Plus chief operating officer, added, "The platform created by the acquisition will offer a more robust solution for shippers, while preserving what makes each organization unique."

The acquisition is expected to create a more robust and scalable platform for shippers seeking reliable and flexible transportation solutions. Logistics Plus, which employs over 1,200 staff members and generates nearly $1 billion in annual revenue, continues its commitment to helping customers navigate complex supply chains.

Republic Partners served as the adviser on the deal for LoadDelivered Logistics. The acquisition was announced in a news release. The combined entity is poised to offer a comprehensive range of transportation management services, leveraging the strengths of both companies to deliver superior solutions to its clients.
