Ross Video Acquires LAMA: Enhancing Audio Solutions and Live Workflows

Ross Video, a leading provider of production solutions for broadcast and live events, has announced its acquisition of LAMA, a Dutch-based developer of advanced audio production software.

The acquisition significantly strengthens Ross Video's audio solution set and core audio technology. Ewan Cameron, Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of LAMA, stated that joining Ross Video allows them to keep innovating while expanding access to their technology.

LAMA's software is designed to streamline live audio workflows, and its integrated audio mixing tools complement Ross Video's existing video workflows. The new tools aim to remove silos and streamline production at Ross Video, supporting use cases ranging from live broadcasts and esports to corporate events and streaming.

Nigel Spratling, Vice President of Production Switchers at Ross Video, appreciates LAMA's intuitive approach to audio mixing. He expressed his excitement about welcoming the LAMA team to Ross, stating that their modern, efficient technology aligns with today's operators' needs.

LAMA's software has already been used in high-profile events, such as Eurosport's Olympic Games Paris 2024, and it enabled SK Gaming to simplify esports audio with NDI integration. The software will be showcased at the Ross Video booth 8.B91 during IBC2025, which takes place at the RAI Amsterdam from Sept. 12-15.
