Lisbon's 100 Maneiras Group Changes Hands After 17 Years of Culinary Legacy
The 100 Maneiras Group, a well-known name in Lisbon’s dining scene, has changed hands after 17 years. The Dhurba Subedi Group now owns the restaurants, marking a shift in leadership. Former owners Ljubomir Stanisic, Nuno Faria, and Nelson Santos left their management roles in early 2026. The group’s journey began in September 2010 with the opening of Bistro 100 Maneiras. By 2017, it had earned the top spot in the Monocle Restaurant Awards. Another location, at 39 Rua do Teixeira, gained a Michelin star between 2021 and 2023. Carnal Gastrobar, launched in 2021, also received recognition—a Bib Gourmand from the Michelin Guide in 2023—before a fire destroyed it in April 2026.
The Dhurba Subedi Group, led by Jamuna Subedi, Dhurba Sapana, Niraj Subedi, and Kismita Subedi, now takes over operations. This family-run business already owns over a hundred restaurants globally, including Lisbon favourites Las Ficheras and UMA Marisqueira. The 100 Maneiras team described the transition as 'the end of a cycle, but also a beginning'.
The change in ownership follows the departure of the original founders from day-to-day operations. The Dhurba Subedi Group now controls the restaurants, adding them to an extensive international portfolio. The move signals a new chapter for the 100 Maneiras brand.
