Limited access in the castle vicinity due to road regulations
For visitors attending the International PARK(ing) Day event taking place on Tuesday and Wednesday in Edmund-Jörg-Straße and the section of Kalcherstraße between Gerhard-Hauptmann-Straße and Edmund-Jörg-Straße, it is important to be aware of the traffic restrictions and parking regulations in place.
On both days, traffic restrictions will be implemented along Edmund-Jörg-Straße and the section of Kalcherstraße mentioned above. From 2 PM to 10:30 PM on Tuesday, and from 6 PM to 10:30 PM on Wednesday, there will be no-stopping zones on both sides of Edmund-Jörg-Straße and the section of Kalcherstraße. Direct access roads will be closed during these no-stopping zones.
Visitors are advised that parking spaces near the castle will not be available on Tuesday and Wednesday. It is recommended to make use of the shuttle service provided from the Messeparkplatz for visitors during the event on both days.
Exceptions to the entry ban during the no-stopping zones include residents, people with disabilities, and event suppliers and organizers. Emergency vehicles will have access at all times during the traffic restrictions on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Traffic restrictions are necessary to ensure the safety of the event, maintain traffic flow, and allow access for firefighters and emergency vehicles at all times. It is crucial for visitors to observe these restrictions to ensure safety and smooth traffic flow.
