LG OLED TVs and Park Seo-Bo Collaborate for a Stunning Art Exhibition

LG OLED TVs are set to bring the vibrant and meditative colors of renowned Korean contemporary artist Park Seo-Bo to life, as part of a collaboration with the PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION. The partnership, which includes the digitally reimagined artwork "Park Seo-Bo x LG OLED TV: Colors Drawn from Nature," will be showcased at Frieze Seoul 2025.

LG Electronics, the Headline Partner at Frieze Seoul 2025, is recognised for its innovative televisions, audio, displays, and smart TV platforms. The LG Media Entertainment Solution Company's commitment to pushing the boundaries of technology is evident in the way LG OLED TVs accurately capture Park Seo-Bo's distinctive color palette using self-lit pixels and perfect blacks.

Park Seo-Bo, a pioneering figure in Korean contemporary art, was a professor and chairman of the Korean Fine Arts Association. He played a key role in modernising art education and globalising Korean art. In 2019, he founded the PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION to preserve his work and support future generations in art and culture.

The collaboration between LG and the PARKSEOBO FOUNDATION will see Park Seo-Bo's work displayed on LG's latest OLED evo G5 and M5 TVs at Frieze Seoul 2025. A T-shaped installation will feature these cutting-edge TVs, showcasing Park Seo-Bo's work alongside a digitally reimagined artwork by Je Baak.

Je Baak's artwork celebrates a pivotal moment for Park Seo-Bo when a walk under the autumn leaves struck him as both awe-inspiring and healing. This sentiment is echoed by Kate Oh, head of Experiential Marketing at the LG Media Entertainment Solution Company, who stated that LG OLED TVs honour the legacy of Park Seo-Bo's nature-inspired colors.

In addition to the exhibition at Frieze Seoul 2025, LG is bringing the fair experience into the homes of art enthusiasts through its new LG Gallery+ app on the LG webOS platform. More than 100 select artworks from Frieze Seoul, including works by Park Seo-Bo, will be available for free viewing on LG Gallery+ for a certain time after the fair. LG TV owners can enjoy a seamless and extended viewing experience in the form of a home gallery with works from Frieze Seoul.

LG OLED TVs continue to collaborate with world-renowned art partners, including Frieze, the Guggenheim, and MMCA. The LG OLED ART initiative aims to redefine the artist's canvas by introducing LG OLED as an ideal medium for artists. To date, LG OLED ART has collaborated with over 40 globally acclaimed artists, including Anish Kapoor, Damien Hirst, Suh Do Ho, and Six N. Five.

Park Seo-Bo's contributions were honoured with Korea's highest cultural orders. His work, which captures the quiet depth and nuance of nature, is a testament to his enduring influence on contemporary art. With the "Park Seo-Bo x LG OLED TV: Colors Drawn from Nature" collaboration, LG continues to celebrate and elevate the work of this pioneering artist.
