Model Lena Gercke Becomes Guest Investor on 'Die Höhle der Löwen'
Lena Gercke, the German model who won the first season of Heidi Klum's casting show "Germany's Next Topmodel" in 2006, has taken on a new role as a guest investor on the popular TV show "Die Höhle der Löwen."
Born in Marburg in 1988 and raised in Cloppenburg, Gercke has built up a successful career in the fashion industry, even founding her own fashion brand. However, her life took a different turn when she became a mother.
Gercke has two daughters, Zoe, who is five years old, and Lia, who is two years old. Zoe was born in the summer of 2020, and Lia followed in December 2022. Gercke has spoken about how her children have brought a new home and sense of importance to her life.
"Children are like mirrors, showing if something's not right with the system," Gercke said in an interview. "They have taught me to slow down and be present in the moment."
Gercke's appearance on "Die Höhle der Löwen" was first aired on September 8, 2025, on RTL+, and will be broadcast on Vox on September 15, 2025. The episode is already available on RTL+ from September 8.
Before having children, Gercke spent most of her time in planes and hotels, but now she is using her experience and expertise to support and invest in new businesses on the show.
In addition to her work on "Die Höhle der Löwen," Gercke has also moderated the casting show "The Voice of Germany." With her new role as a mother and guest investor, Gercke continues to make a mark in the fashion and entertainment industries.
