The trial concerning the controversial abduction of children from their father's custody in Denmark is currently being held at the Hamburg Regional Court. The case, now in its sixth day, has seen the involvement of various parties, including an Israeli defendant.

The Israeli defendant, who is one of the three main defendants, along with Christina Block and a lawyer from the Block group, spoke for the first time in the trial on Tuesday. The defendant, who was arrested on Cyprus at the end of September last year and is currently in custody in Hamburg, recounted his involvement in the case.

The Israeli defendant, whose identity has not been disclosed, described his life in Israel, including his education, military service, and martial arts practice. He also spoke about his role in the abduction, stating that he agreed to assist in an operation to rescue the children after being invited to a meeting in Israel.

However, Christina Block refused to answer further questions from lawyer Stephan Hensel, who is representing the father of the abducted children. During the trial, Hensel's lawyer accused Block's father of using answers to manipulate the second oldest daughter, who lives with her mother. The co-plaintiff denied this accusation.

Ingo Bott, the lawyer for the Hamburg entrepreneur, stated that his client would no longer answer any questions from Hensel's lawyer. This decision came after Bott applied for a court order due to the ruling of the presiding judge, Isabel Hildebrandt. Hildebrandt, however, ruled that Hensel's lawyer could still ask his questions, and the defendant could decide whether to answer or not.

The Israeli defendant also addressed the issue of money, claiming it wasn't a deciding factor in his involvement in the case. This statement came after it was revealed that money was offered to the defendant.

The trial has seen various twists and turns, with the chamber allowing Meden to ask further questions of the defendant, but Bott objecting to Meden's next question. Meden, who presented more than 100 questions to the chamber, stated that a solution must be found "to get out of this kindergarten game."

The head of the security firm spoke about the Block family and the custody dispute during a meeting with the Israeli defendant. The defendant also recounted how he made contact with the head of the security firm allegedly involved in the abduction of the Block children.

The Israeli defendant's testimony is set to continue on Thursday, as the trial continues to unfold, shedding light on the complex and contentious case.
