Leadership, Law, and Living According to Hana Dhanji's Guidance
In the realm of personal and professional development, Hana Dhanji stands as a beacon of inspiration. Born in London and raised in Scarborough, Ontario, in a working-class immigrant family, Dhanji's journey to success is a testament to determination and resilience.
Dhanji, a lawyer, executive coach, and entrepreneur, has an impressive resume. She has worked with prestigious organisations such as the World Health Organization (WHO), the Canadian Mission to the UN, and top global law firms like Sullivan & Cromwell and Hogan Lovells. Her academic achievements are equally impressive, with a master's in international affairs from the Graduate Institute in Geneva and a JD/MBA from U of T's Faculty of Law and Rotman School of Management.
However, success came at a cost. After years in corporate law, Dhanji found herself burned out, leading her to pivot into coaching to help others avoid a similar fate and build careers rooted in their values.
Today, Dhanji is the founder of two successful ventures: The Law School Edge and Integrated Feminine Authority. The Law School Edge, established in 2023, focuses on helping students craft their narrative and build confidence. Integrated Feminine Authority, on the other hand, is a new initiative aimed at helping women in leadership who are experiencing burnout and misalignment.
Common blocks Dhanji sees in her clients include perfectionism, people-pleasing, and imposter syndrome. Her approach to coaching is holistic, encompassing career coaching, mindset work, and leadership development.
Dhanji's advice for people navigating success today is to ask themselves if success is making them whole or if it's costing them. For her, success now is about peace, alignment, and impact, tracked across health, finances, relationships, and spirituality. She champions a new model of professional success, one built on inner balance and lasting purpose.
Recently, Dhanji joined EO Accelerator and attended their Women's Summit. She is currently growing Integrated Feminine Authority and building community with other entrepreneurs. As a board member at her former school, University of Toronto Schools, and an active mentor, Dhanji continues to inspire and empower others to find success on their own terms.
