Leaders of the PGA Tour Championship: Fleetwood and Cantlay currently hold the top spot

In the final round of the Tour Championship, the race for the top spot is tight as US Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley and England's Tommy Fleetwood are tied for the lead. Both players are currently two shots ahead of Russell Henley, with world number one Scottie Scheffler just one stroke behind Bradley.

Fleetwood, a seven-time DP World Tour winner, carded a three-under par 67, while Bradley impressed with a strong round of seven-under 63. Bradley's impressive performance could spark speculation about his potential as a playing captain for the Ryder Cup.

Cantlay, the 2021 Tour Championship winner and eight-time US tour title holder, started the day three strokes behind the lead. He improved his position with a series of birdies, scoring a six-under 64. Cantlay birdied the second, third, 14th, 16th, 17th, and 18th holes to secure his place at the top.

Russell Henley, who started the day tied for the lead, had an up-and-down day with four birdies and three bogeys, resulting in a one-under 69. Despite the difficulties, Scheffler was proud of his turnaround from a bogey-bogey start. The five-time tour winner, who has won major titles at the PGA Championship and British Open this year, could not maintain a high level of performance.

Fleetwood remains in control after a birdie at the 13th hole, but suffered a double-bogey at the 15th hole. However, he responded with birdies at 16 and 17 to stay in the game. Henley remains in third place, two shots behind Cantlay and Fleetwood.

As the Tour Championship enters its final stages, the race for the top spot is heating up. With Cantlay and Fleetwood tied for the lead, and Bradley and Scheffler close behind, it promises to be an exciting finish. The best round score of the day is yet to be determined, adding to the suspense.
