The final round of the Women's Open is set to be a thrilling showdown, as adverse weather conditions are expected to add another layer of complexity. Current leader Miyu Yamashita (Japan), celebrating her 24th birthday, recorded a two-over 74 in the third round, reducing her lead to just one stroke.

Miyu Yamashita, who has been a consistent performer throughout the tournament, faced challenges in the third round, including a bogey on the 10th hole and additional shots late in the round. However, she managed to secure her lead with a crucial long putt on the 17th hole.

A Lim Kim (South Korea) is in second place with a score of -8, after shooting a round of 67. Kim, who has been impressive in her play, is hot on Yamashita's heels and will undoubtedly push for the top spot in the final round.

Andrea Lee (United States) is in third place with a score of -7, following closely after also shooting a 67 on Saturday. Lee, who has been a consistent performer this season, will be looking to capitalise on any potential slip-ups from the leaders.

Charley Hull of England is three strokes behind the leader Miyu Yamashita, tied for fourth place with a score of six under. Hull, who recorded a six-under-par 66 in the third round, will be chasing the top spot in the final round.

Rio Takeda (Japan), Jiwon Khang (United States), Yuna Katsu (Japan), and Hull's fellow Englishwoman Lottie Woad are tied for fourth place with a score of -6. Woad and Hull, both from England, are tied for ninth place with a score of -3, along with Lily Rhodes (England).

Georgia Hall (England) is in eighth place with a score of -4, while Justin Harry (Wales), Jin Young Ko (New Zealand), Nelly Korda (United States) are tied for 27th place with an even par score.

Minjee Lee (Australia) is tied for eleventh place with a score of -2.
