Law enforcement officials in Poland are seeking individuals who may have information related to a recent incident.
In the heart of Recklinghausen and Marl, two separate burglaries have taken place, leaving residents and authorities on high alert.
On Wednesday afternoon, two apartments on Halterner Straße in Recklinghausen were broken into. The perpetrators, yet to be identified, forced open the apartment doors and primarily searched the bedrooms for loot. A significant find from the burglaries was jewelry, which has been taken from both apartments. The escape route of the culprits remains unknown.
Earlier in the day, a single-family house on Holtkampweg in Recklinghausen was also targeted. The burglar gained entry by breaking a window around 12:00 PM. The method of entry in the Marl burglary, which occurred on Rheinstahlstraße, is still unclear. In this incident, the perpetrators made off with an air rifle and cash while the resident was asleep.
Witnesses in the Recklinghausen burglary on Halterner Straße described two male suspects. One was approximately 1.65m tall, slim build, with a three-day beard, dressed in black. The other was shorter, slim build, with a three-day beard, wearing short brown pants and a light t-shirt.
