Law enforcement is taking measures to prevent bike thefts.
In the early hours of April 5th, a 38-year-old man was observed tampering with a bicycle in Rothohl Street, Giessen. The man, who was found with an angle grinder, was attempting to steal the white-gray Univega trekking bicycle.
The police were alerted to the incident and quickly intervened, halting the man's actions. As a result, the man was forced to continue his journey on foot, and the bicycle and lock were taken to the police station for safekeeping.
