Apprehension Occurs in Hesse - Law enforcement agent accused of shooting his girlfriend (23)
Around 8:25 pm on a Wednesday night, the police received multiple emergency calls. People reported hearing a gunshot in Seelenberger Weg, a part of Mauloff in Weilrod. The police rushed to the scene but couldn't save the woman; she had already passed away.
A federal police officer was also on the scene and surrendered without a fight. His service weapon was taken as well, which is believed to be the murder weapon. Authorities will look into how the shot was fired.
The suspect is set to appear before the investigating judge at Frankfurt district court this very day. He's under investigation for manslaughter.
