The Ludwigsdorf Federal Police Inspectorate has announced the arrest of an 18-year-old Ukrainian suspect early Sunday morning at the A4 Motorway control point near Görlitz.

According to Michael Engler, the press spokesperson for the Ludwigsdorf Federal Police Inspectorate, the arrest was due to a warrant issued by the Konstanz Regional Court in an investigation into a robbery. The warrant ordered the suspect's detention.

Confiscated from the suspect's backpack were a sap glove and a disguised electroshock device, leading to a report of a suspected violation of the Weapons Act. The offenses under investigation are related to the Weapons Act.

Another Ukrainian was arrested at the same location hours ago, but has since continued his journey after paying a fine imposed by the Munich Regional Court for an offense under the Weapons Act. The amount of the fine paid was 775.00 euros.

The investigations into these incidents were conducted by the Federal Reserve Police and the Görlitz and Konstanz Regional Courts. The suspect was taken to a detention facility after the investigating judge at the Görlitz Regional Court enforced the Konstanz warrant.
