Law enforcement agencies are on a manhunt for far-right extremist named Liebich

Marla Svenja Liebich, a convicted far-right extremist, is currently a fugitive from justice after failing to report to the justice facility in Chemnitz to serve her sentence. An international arrest warrant has been issued for Liebich, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison in July 2023, following charges of incitement of the masses, slander, and insult.

According to reports, Liebich, who was previously known as Sven Liebich, did not begin her prison sentence at JVA Chemnitz as ordered in August 2025. A post on the X platform under her name announced her decision to evade her sentence, stating that no one was aware of her plan.

The Halle prosecution office and Halle police department are conducting a search for Liebich, with the location of the fugitive remaining unknown. No further details have been provided about the search, but it is known that the authorities are taking tactical measures to avoid disclosing her whereabouts.

Liebich's conviction is related to far-right extremism, sparking criticism of the authorities' handling and public debate around her gender transition and prison placement. Speculation about Liebich fleeing to Russia exists, but it remains unconfirmed by prosecutors.

Liebich's sentence was handed down while she was still using the name Sven Liebich. On Friday evening, a post was published on the X platform under her new name, further fuelling concerns about her whereabouts.

As Liebich continues to evade justice, the search for her continues, with the authorities urging anyone with information about her whereabouts to come forward. Liebich's case serves as a reminder of the importance of adhering to the law and the consequences of evading justice.
