The LATAM Floral Experience, a vibrant gathering of floral designers, took place in the creative heart of São Paulo, Brazil, from August 8th onwards. Hosted at Pivô - Arte e Pesquisa, a hub promoting contemporary art, the event showcased the region's rich talent, cultural diversity, and collaborative spirit.

The first day kicked off with a unique demonstration by Mikey Putnam and Lucía Milan, renowned for their distinctive styles. Putnam, known for his special color combinations, and Milan, who respects the natural shape of each flower, collaborated on a table landscape filled with accessories, natural elements, fabrics, and colours.

The second day of the event saw each attendee working on their own personal project. These individual creations later came together to form a collective piece, reflecting the diversity of styles and the strong connection between all participants. The collective piece was started by Mikey and Lucía, embodying the event's theme of unity and collaboration.

On the second day, the demonstrations continued, though the specifics remain undisclosed. The demonstrations took place at Pivô - Arte e Pesquisa, where the atmosphere was filled with the buzz of creative energy.

The event concluded with a floral-filled cocktail reception, where new friendships were generated amidst the music and general conversations. The reception served as a testament to the event's success in fostering connections within the floral design community.

The LATAM Floral Experience attracted participants from Argentina, Mexico, Venezuela, Uruguay, Colombia, Chile, and local designers from Brazil. Shallima Turizo was among those who joined the festivities, contributing to the event's international flair.

Mikey Putnam's philosophy of investing in reusable accessories and durable mechanics, combined with Lucía Milan's compositions starting with a three-level base, seeking movement, asymmetry, and organic expression, set the stage for a truly inspiring event. The LATAM Floral Experience in São Paulo was more than just a demonstration of floral artistry; it was a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the transformative power of flowers.
