Las Vegas to Debut First Hybrid Casino Salon for Filming Table Games

Las Vegas is set to get its first hybrid gaming salon designed for professional filming of table games. The Nevada Gaming Control Board has recommended approval for the venue at Park MGM. If given the green light, it will mark a new step in blending casino play with digital content creation.

The proposal comes as Nevada eases rules around recording real-money wagering. Until now, no other Strip casino has offered a fixed studio for live-streaming or filming table game sessions in this way.

The salon at Park MGM will serve two purposes. It will operate as a public gaming area while also functioning as a private, broadcast-ready studio. Patrons playing at the tables can download high-definition, multi-angle clips of their wins—similar to a digital souvenir from a theme park ride.

During private recording sessions, the space will switch to a closed studio for influencers and celebrities. The public will be asked to leave while filming takes place. This hybrid model is the first of its kind on the Strip, combining live casino play with professional content production. The Nevada Gaming Commission is expected to vote on the proposal at its March 26 meeting. If approved, Park MGM will join three other Vegas properties with dedicated spaces for gaming content creators. The HyperX Arena at Luxor opened in March 2018, offering a broadcast centre and OMEN Streamer Room for esports and video game streamers. Kingpin and Hardwood Production Suites at Palms followed in November 2018, selling production packages to creators like MrBeast. The Vegas Live Casino Network at The Plaza launched in January 2021, featuring a live-streaming studio for YouTubers.

The Park MGM salon would be the first major hybrid gaming space under Nevada's updated regulations. It follows a growing trend of casinos adapting to digital content creation. If approved, the venue will offer both players and influencers a new way to engage with table games on the Strip.
