The Junior University Summer Festival, a collaborative effort between the institution and its cooperation partners, was celebrated for the first time this year. The three-day event took place both indoors and outdoors, expanding to include all three floors of a colourful building, in addition to the Junior University campus.

Under the expert guidance of Dr. Ariane Staab, Manager of Junior University, the smooth operation of the festival was ensured. Dr. Staab expressed her joy at seeing many curious young researchers, as well as experts, participating in the diverse program.

The festival offerings were designed for both young and old researchers. There were over 40 creative action stations, including opportunities to make "seed bombs", experiment in the superball workshop, tinker at the soldering station, research with water, explore the Stone Age garden, paint with obstacles, build circuits, and launch a self-designed rocket.

Indoor activities were encouraged due to the changeable weather. Students guided their parents and grandparents through the building, showing them the labs and workshops. This was a unique opportunity for many parents to explore the classrooms with their children for the first time.

The students shared their daily course experiences with their parents and grandparents during the festival. The lecturers at Junior University have a great enthusiasm for sharing their knowledge, and this was evident in the engaging presentations and hands-on activities.

The summer festival was successful in fostering a research spirit and discovery joy. Dr. Staab was pleased to see the festival's impact, with many participants leaving with newfound knowledge and a sense of achievement.

Pictures were taken during the event, capturing the joy and enthusiasm that filled the festival despite the changeable weather. The Junior University team looks forward to next year's festival, where they hope to continue inspiring young minds and fostering a love for research and discovery.
