Lancaster's Howls and Meows Bingo Bash raises $38K for pets in need
Pet Pantry of Lancaster County held its ninth annual Howls and Meows Bingo Bash last weekend. The event sold out completely and raised over $38,000 for animals in need. Attendees enjoyed food, games, and raffles while supporting a local cause.
The bash featured a lively 50/50 raffle, with one lucky winner taking home more than $2,200. Another 75 guests won themed raffle baskets throughout the evening. Organisers ensured plenty of entertainment alongside the fundraising.
Delicious food was available for purchase, adding to the event's festive atmosphere. Among the attendees was Taz, a small orange tabby kitten recovering from a head injury. The kitten had been brought to Pet Pantry for care and made a special appearance at the bash.
The sold-out event exceeded expectations, raising vital funds for animals like Taz. The money will go directly toward medical care, food, and shelter for pets in Pet Pantry's programme. Organisers have already begun planning for next year's bash.
